R.I.P simplicity.I have friends and all one could wish for.
But somehow, I'm always wanting even more.

I've lost myself somewhere along the way.
My world has changed from colour to grey.

A moment of silence for all that is gone.
My simplicity, for that is what I mourn.

I have everything but I'm secretly sad.
Soon what I have will be what I had.

Some people need to cut themselves some slack, give themselves a pat on the back, a hug, a "You are amazing. Go for it, kiddo!" and just stop being so hard on themselves.
Some others need to pull up their socks, pick themselves up and work harder and stop complaining for goodness sake.
The best people are often people who are way too humble and diffident and don't see their potential.
Look, all of us will be judged whether we like it or not. Humans are judgmental creatures in nature, and people can't help judging you by the way you look, talk, walk, behave etc. But not everyone is so baseless that they will sum up the whole of your existence just by an initial label or a lousy stereotype. If so, I don't think you would want to waste time on such shallow and tasteless people anyway.
It doesn't matter what people think about you. Just be yourself, be true to yourself and you'll find that the right people will find you, like you will find them. (Of course, enviro

Aurora stopped in her tracks, gazing out on the brilliantly shimmering expanse of white before her, head cocked, genuinely puzzled: "What is this?"

Ruby raised her eyebrows, turning to her teammate to see if she was serious: "… Snow, Aurora."

Aurora's eyes widened, her mouth forming a perfect O, and whispered as if she spoke of secrets that she dare not divulge: "So you see it too …"

… Then the screaming began: "Why is the entire village covered in snow?!"

Simple, delicious recipe for Oriental tasting scrambled eggs:
Little bit of butter
How many eggs desired
Proportional dash of Japanese cooking sherry (mirin)
Proportional dash of soy sauce
Coat fry pan with butter, Dump in everything else and mix. Don't be afraid to add healthy doses of the mirin and soy sauce, but don't drown the eggs in them.

That was what I was thinking.
But.
Then I'm completely missing the point of "never giving up".
Never giving up is when you're at your lowest point. When you're completely helpless and trapped. When you're in the pits of the valley, in the shadow of the darkest shadow and the devil has completely blocked out the light.
But you refuse to give in. Refuse to fall. And you push on. Even if you are crawling on your arms, dragging your belly across the dirt...Even if you look pathetic...
THAT's what it means to not give up.
If you could take it, why would you even contemplate "giving up"?
